Xiaomi is poised to expand its foldable lineup with the upcoming Mix Flip 2, which may see its official debut as soon as next month. Recent leaks indicate that this successor arrives less than a year after the original Mix Flip introduced Xiaomi’s clamshell-style phone format to its catalog.
The Mix Flip 2 is expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, positioning it at the top end of the current Android performance spectrum. As per industry sources, the device will sport a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED inner display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The promise of a more immersive screen experience could make it stand out in a growing field of compact foldables.
Photography and video capabilities look set for an upgrade as well. The rear dual camera array reportedly includes a main 50-megapixel sensor and an ultra-wide lens matching that resolution, offering a flexible setup for varied shooting needs.
