Lenovo is making waves in the budget earbud market with its new ThinkPlus LP70 Pro, also known as the Mini Color Box Smart Touchscreen Bluetooth Earbuds. Available in Beige, Black, and Pink, these earbuds offer a distinctive feature: a full-color smart touchscreen built into the charging case. This sets them apart from many competitors, including some higher-end models.
The touchscreen provides users with convenient access to several functions. You can control music playback, manage calls, set alarms, adjust volume, and even locate misplaced earbuds by triggering a sound. Lenovo also allows for customization with changeable wallpapers, enhancing the personal touch. The company claims the touchscreen offers access to ten key features with a single touch.
Beyond the touchscreen, the LP70 Pro earbuds feature 13mm composite diaphragm drivers, designed to deliver high-fidelity audio across various frequencies. They also include five sound modes jazz, vocal, balanced, bass, and stereo that users can customize. Support for 360-degree spatial audio is included as well.
Connectivity is provided via Bluetooth 5.4, which promises faster transmission speeds, improved stability, and reduced latency. A dedicated low-latency gaming mode is also present. Each earbud has a 30mAh battery, providing up to 4 hours of playback on a single charge. The charging case, equipped with a 500mAh battery, extends the total usage time to approximately 30 hours. Charging is done via USB Type-C.
The ergonomic semi-in-ear design aims to ensure comfort during prolonged use. Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) using a single microphone helps to suppress ambient noise during calls. The dual-chip architecture supports both mono and stereo modes.
